The key takeaways from the poll.
Trump’s overall approval rating has dropped over the past two weeks while Democrats hold advantages over Trump on key issues relating to the pandemic.
The share who describe Trump’s coronavirus response as “unprepared” has grown, while the share who call him “honest” has fallen.
Americans are concerned about Trump ignoring and over ruling the advice of medical experts.
Check out these new numbers from Navigator Research on Trump and the COVID-19 crisis. Among other findings, Trump’s overall approval rating has hit a new low in the daily tracking; and basically, unless you’re a Fox “News”-watching Republican (or maybe a non-Fox-“News”-watching Republican), you do NOT think that Trump’s gotten the response to Coronavirus right. Sad, eh? No wonder why Republicans know that the only way they can win in November is by suppressing the vote, and more broadly trying to steal the election. We’ve got to make sure that doesn’t happen.
There will always be a portion of the general public that can be counted on to vote for the ignoramus. Heck, even in 1932, Hoover still got about 40% of the vote. Come November, after scanning the wreckage and destruction caused by this mis-administration, we should hope that our fellow countrymen provide us with a similar result.
Right now, we should be ANGRY. And we should make sure our anger carries us through November 3rd. We must do EVERYTHING we can to rid ourselves and our country of this menace.
Here’s a tweet thread with some righteous anger from a “current ally”, Rick Wilson.
