New Marquette Law School Poll finds Biden widening his lead over Trump in WI. Results put Biden at 49%, Trump at 41%. In early May, it was Biden 46%, Trump 43%. For comparison, in February, head to head was 46% for Biden and 46% for Trump.
The new round of polling was done from June 14 to 18, 2020, with 805 registered WI voters. Margin of error is +/- 4.3 percentage points for results for the full sample.
Support for Trump among Republicans declined since our last poll, and opposition to Trump grew among independents. In poll in early May, 93% of Republicans supported Trump. In mid-June, it was 83%.
