So, it appears that “American” Facebook users can get part of the $700million+ settlement for its security failure when Cambridge Analytica stole personal info. This is the same info that was then sold to be used by Russian hackers and their contractors to help swing the 2016 election against Clinton (and the Brexit vote in the UK). Of course they, as well as Trump, never thought that he would actually win, they just wanted to weaken Clinton’s presidency.
The deal is: You go to the link below, fill out their form with all the personal info that was stolen in the first place along with your current bank info for payment processing and they send you the cash.

So, essentially we are expected to calmly send in name, address, etc, etc, to get a piece of the $725 million.
At ~240 million current “US” users (don’t forget phony accounts set up with spoofed American locations via VPNs) that means about $3.00 each.
That’ll be a hard NO Facebook. Not sending that kinda info to you cuz who knows who else is watching? I’ve scrubbed absolutely as much personal info as I can off your servers leaving only my activity and friends list as a hint about me. Even that is too much for comfort.
Oh, and how in the Hell did I obtain so many strangers listed in my Chat directory of “friends” that I can send messages to? Many thanks for setting me up. You must have Tinder envy.
